Minister, Entrepreneur, Author, and Mentor Theresa Denise Pettaway was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She came to Detroit at the young age of two and has remained to this day. Having experienced sexual molestation, rejection, low self-esteem, and depression throughout most of her early life, Theresa accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and Lord at the age of 17 while still in the critical and formative years of high school. Upon receiving Jesus Christ, Theresa learned about true love, true forgiveness, and true self-respect. With this knowledge and wisdom, God gave her the great commissions of ministering His love and encouragement to hurting youth and women and being a mother to young teenage girls. She has served as a minister of hope to Detroit’s youth and their families for over 20 years. She is currently a member of Wings as Eagles Deliverance Ministry under the leadership of Pastor Kennard and Elect-Lady Annette Pettaway.
